Pinball City: Animated Short

The inside of a pinball machine reveals itself alive with pinball characters and quarters.  The short opens with a flashback of my protagonist, Larry.  A once legendary pinball for "The Wizards", reflects on one of his most memorable games.  The entire city used to come out to the games, especially when the best pinball's ere to take aim in the stadium.  The fact that Larry is in a championship game is not the true reason why this is his most memorable game.  This is the game where he met the love of his life Sally.

Larry Tries his hardest in the match and falls short of obtaining that championship trophy.  Defeated and down, Larry stays in the stadium as the crowd empties.  Only one girl stays behind to show him that no matter how hard we fall, we must always get back up.  Sally stands for good and hope in this world.  Her confidence and kindness towards Larry in one of his darkest moments triggers a greater sense of love than any championship could ever bring.

In experimenting with my story of Pinball City I chose to see what it would look like if I drew out the overview bullet points to the story in graphic novel form.  The color palette I chose represents that of the 1970's pinball machines I love.

Tesla Model M: Car Commercial

I created a car commercial based on local car company, Tesla Motors.  I wanted to encompass the transition from concept design to the actual finished product.  Throughout my story you will see the car take shape as two works throw pieces together.  After the car is assembled we cut to the car in motion on the Golden Gate Bridge.  This also emphasizes Tesla Motors as a Bay Area company
